The Women’s Programs & WorkFirst in partnership with the Highline Support Center, announced a new community partner making its appearance on campus. Excess Telecom & Assurance Wireless will have an information booth to help enroll eligible students and their families in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
Most will immediately quality and receive (1) tablet or phone the same day, others may need to provide additional supporting documentation. A YEARLY, ONE-TIME co-payment is required ranging from $15 or $25. Each tablet comes equipped with its own sim card, and staff will ensure connectivity before releasing the device.

- Section 8 or Public Housing
- Cash Assistance (TANF)
- Food Assistance (SNAP/EBT) for Parent or Child
- Financial Aid PELL Grant
- WIC
- SSI/SSDI
- Medicaid (Parent or Child)
- Veterans & Survivor Pension Benefits
- Low Income Households

Women’s Programs & Workforce and the Highline Support Center are working to establish a permanent location on-campus for students and staff to meet with Excess Telecom representatives to sign up and ask questions.
