Outlook Syncing Issues – 5/5, 9:30 a.m.

ITS is experiencing issues with the Outlook desktop application and syncing with the Exchange server in the Cloud.  As a result, some persons may not be able to use the Outlook desktop app.  We recommend the use of the Outlook Web application as we work to resolve the issues.  We will notify our campus users when the Outlook issue has been resolved.  We apologize for any inconveniences.

Network Maintenance on April 7, 3:00 a.m.Network maintenance will be performed tomorrow morning (Friday, 4/7, 2017) at 3:00 am.  Campus access to the Internet will be interrupted for about 5 minutes. Please note that email, Canvas, and the main college Web site will remain available during that time.

Canvas is back to normal – 3/13, 9:46 a.m.

Canvas Login and tool access errors – 3/13, 8:45 a.m.
Users are seeing intermittent login errors when accessing Canvas. In addition some Canvas tools appear to be affected by the errors as well.

Our engineers continue to investigate intermittent errors preventing some users from logging into Canvas. We also have reports that some tools such as Speedgrader, the App store, Tii and our media tool may be affected as well.  We appreciate your patience at this time as we investigate the behavior and offer sincere apology for any inconvenience experienced by your teachers and students.

Firewall Updates Performed This Morning – 3/7, 4:30 a.m.

An update was performed on campus firewall(s) today at 4:30 am and all went well.  The MaST device was updated as well.

Pharos Printing Issues Resolved – 3/1 7:30 a.m.

This morning there was a printing issue with Pharos.  Pharos database services was restarted.  The printing issue was resolved.

Canvas is Fully Functional- 2/28 4:00 p.m.

All users should now be able to access Canvas with full functionality and see improved performance with their uploads to Canvas.  Thank you for your patience as Amazon Web Services worked to resolve the issues throughout the day.

Limited Canvas Access – 2/28 2:00 p.m.

All users should now be able to access Canvas. There may still be areas of impaired functionality as Canvas and Amazon Web Services continue to work through remaining issues. This includes student uploads to assignments, instructor grade uploads, and similar functions. We will update the campus community when the issue has been fully resolved. Thank you for your patience.

Large-Scale Canvas Outage – 2/28

There is a large-scale outage with Canvas that began today at 9:50 am.  Panopto is also impacted.  Canvas and Amazon Web Services are working to resolves these issues.  We will update the campus community when the issue has been resolved.

Canvas Login Issue Resolved – 2/28/2017

We experienced an issue with the service that handles Canvas logins last evening between 11:22 pm and 7:27 am this morning.  The issue was resolved.

Intermittent Network Issues – 2/24/2017

We experienced intermittent network drops between11:30 am and 1:45 pm. A feature on the firewall was causing issues.  The issues were resolved.

Canvas Log-in Issues – 2/21/2017

We experienced a system-wide issue with Canvas this morning between 7:45 am and 8:22 am.  The issue was resolved.

VDI Connection Issues – 2/16/17

This morning between 10:50 am through 11:30 am, there were intermittent issues with VDI connections.  All connections were restored.
