Grackle Docs

The Grackle Add-on is an accessibility checker that will help you identify how you can make documents created in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides readable by everyone. At the moment, only those three apps have the automated accessibility checker.

Using Grackle

Step 1

On a web browser, log in to your Highline Google account, using your MyHighline information.

Step 2

Open up one of your documents.

Step 3

Go to the ‘Extensions’ menu.

Step 4

Choose ‘Manage Extensions,’ click on GrackleDocs, and launch.  The first time you use it, it will ask you to log in to your Highline Google account and give GrackleDocs permission to access your Google documents and slides.

Step 5

A bar will appear on the right side of the screen and will load recommendations.
