Highline VPN (Virtual Private Network)
- For Wi-Fi information, see the Highline Wi-Fi Guide.
Important!
- Please disconnect your VPN connection when not in use.
- Make sure you have set up security on your myHighline account, which is used to log in to the VPN.
What is VPN?
Part of Highline’s cyber security practices is to have a Virtual Private Network (VPN) available. The internet is public domain and exposed to potential risk. Using a VPN creates a private network where those at Highline can safety and securely conduct business. There are some sites and services that can only be accessed from Highline’s network.
You will need to log on to the VPN daily, and log off when you are done. There is limited amount of bandwidth that is shared among all users, and like any street, the most cars that are on it, the slower the traffic will be. So please remember to log off whenever you are taking a long break or when you are done for the day.
